2. If desired, apply a Minwax Water-Based Wood Stain or Minwax Wood Finish stain to the bare wood surfaces, following the label instructions. Wait at least 24 hours before applying the Polycrylic Finish Spray.

3. Shake the can vigorously for two minutes, repeating the process for ten seconds after each minute of use.

4. Protect adjacent areas from overspray, hold the can vertically 12 inches from the surface, and apply the spray using an even, sweeping motion with slightly overlapping strokes. For unfinished wood, apply sufficient material to seal, open joints, edges, and end-grain.
